INCLUSIVE DESIGN
Working on Contrast for Accessibility
Considering the purpose, I heavily prioritized accessibility. After designing the first pass, I started testing the accessibility of the design following the WCAG guidelines.
I tested the contrast and found that majority of the color combinations did not satisfy accessibility guidelines.
So I designed a new version of the design using a contrast (the brighter colors on the darker blue) that fit the guidelines. I also included icons with the subject names to add more guiding points.
